Ageing well has become the new target of Aesthetic medicine and Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN) are generating increasing interest. Used medically with lots of different applications, they are now being used in Aesthetic medicine due to their power to regenerate skin.

PDRN’s are bio-stimulators. They are made from a highly purified form of DNA which promotes anti-ageing responses. They can regenerate skin, improve skin firmness and texture, increase elasticity and reduce wrinkles. The exciting thing about these products is they have 0% immune side effects so whilst there are several products on the market that make similar promises, PDRN’s are different because they will not cause a reaction. This means that they are suitable for anywhere on the face or body, including delicate areas such as the under-eye area.

Dr Lucy has trained with Dr Uche ‘The Eye Guy’ and with Derma focus, the manufacturers of Plenhyage, and is loving the results. She has used them extensively in the under-eye area even in patients who may not be suitable for Tear Trough Filler, and also to treat the neck and décolleté.

The beauty of this treatment is that there is no limit on how often it can be used.
