What are Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?
Anti-wrinkle treatments are muscle relaxing injections which smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They block the nerve impulses from reaching the area so the muscle relaxes and the skin overlying the muscle looks smoother and wrinkle free.
But as they relax muscle activity, they can also be used to treat a 'gummy' smile, relax a jaw muscle, or even other muscles in your neck or shoulders. They also have an effect on sweat glands so can be used to great effect if excess sweating is a problem.

What to expect?
It takes up to 2 weeks to see the full effect of anti-wrinkle treatments. For this reason a follow up review appointment is always offered 2-3 weeks later. At this appointment any ‘top-ups’ can be carried out (free of charge if deemed necessary), and post op photos will be taken for your records.
